The concept for the SacramentoGrubCrawl was originated during a meeting between myself and a longtime friend whom I have always respected and admired for his business acumin, personal insight, and ablility to see untapped potential. "Cline", he said, "One thing I've noticed about you is that you are everywhere,... and wherever you go becomes 'THE SPOT'! I've had the best times of my life out with your crazy self and nobody gets VIP perks like you do. You know everyone and I see you leading the way for others to enjoy that same VIP treatment, have a fabulous time, and really get to know and love this city like you obviously do." Several brainstorming sessions later, in the spirit of entreprenuership, GubCrawl was born, drawing on a lifetime of experience, in order to preserve a lifestyle where you know where you are going and are known where you go,...eating where and what you love. It's always been my mantra,..."It's not where you go ,...it's what you do when you get there". GrubCrawl is an expression of that idea. Having lived in Sacramento long enough to work in the Capitol, for the Feds, the State, the City, the County, private business, and in the non-profit sector, I learned I am an excellent worker,...terrrible employee. With GrubCrawl, there is no "Boss",...just a mission, a few tasks, Resturants, Ambassadors and a guide that brings this exciting event to the people in the city.
